Details have been finalised and circulated. If you have not received those details (Agenda, Attendance form, Notice of Election, and Resolution proposition), please contact either the Chair or the Vice-Chair. (The Agenda is included as a “page” – click on the Assembly Agenda 2011 link in the black panel immediately below the photograph at the top of the home page.)
The date and venue, as previously advised, are: Wednesday, 30th March at the Carr’s Lane Church Centre, central Birmingham (same venue as last year’s Assembly), commencing at 10:30 a.m. (but come earlier if you want a cup of tea before you sit down!).
The theme this year, “No-one Left Out; No-one Left Alone”, is centred principally on isolation, loneliness and inclusion.
The Forum Chair, Keith Sherman, has been successful in securing an agreement for the attendance of the Honourable Steve Webb, MP, Minister of State (Pensions), as a speaker at the Assembly. The Minister has been brave enough to confirm he will take questions “from the floor”! Let us hope that government business on the day does not intervene to prevent his attendance.
